		<description>Just a point of history: Neither the US Air Force or Army fly the T-41 Mescalero (A, B or C) and have not since 1996. Well, except for a couple of T-41Ds used by the USAF Academy Engineering department.

A number of foreign governments still operate both T-41s and other 172s, and the Civil Air Patrol has a few left (being replaced by new 172s and 182s).
